KODEN KGC-300 GPS Compass

Designed for safety

KGC-300 is a IMO approved GPS and can be used as a main compass on vessels up to 500 GT and as a backup compass for boats over 500 GT. User-friendly 4.3 “color display with several different views of course, speed, position etc. KGC-300 has up to 5 NMEA outputs with optional telegram and baud rate. With a start time of about 50 seconds (cold start) the compass sends out course and position to connected equipment very fast.

The KGC-300 also has the ability to send out the Furuno AD-10 signal, and can be used to stabilize older Furuno equipment that does not have a NMEA input. In addition, it can send out PFEC (Furuno’s own pitch and roll telegram) which enables the compass to stabilize Furuno sonar.
